Rey's Lightsaber - Shiny Edition

Finally this piece is finished.
It's basically a "shiny version" of Rey's Lightsaber, Star Wars episode 9, visible for a few seconds right at the end.
I re-designed my original models for the more screen-accurate version, basically just for fun. I also wanted to test different materials and treatments.
This piece is printed with ABS filament, then smoothed in aceton vapor and treated with graphite. Only the 8 triangular bits at the top are airbrushed. Apart from this there was no sanding, filling or painting involved.
I find the result interesting - not my usual style, but it may have its applications. Personally I would really go mad with sanding to make it mirror-like rather than just shiny, but for now that's good enough and some proof of concept.
Btw, yes, I could have added the mechanics to open the aperture when turning the switch. I even started to employ this into my design, but I found it rather pointless, since no "blade" would just emerge there anyway 😉
